Language: The House of Being and the Architect of Our Existence

Language is the house of being, as the philosopher Martin Heidegger once said. It shapes our thoughts, emotions, and connections, granting us access to the essence of reality and human nature. In this blog post, we will explore several impactful quotes that echo this sentiment and discuss how we can use language to build a beautiful and powerful house of existence for ourselves and others. Heigh-Ho / Whistle While You Work

Running to music is a wonderful experience. The right music with beats that match the rhythm of running can make the activity easier and help you forget about the difficulties, allowing you to become fully immersed in the process.

Personally, I curate a playlist of music to listen to while running and also search the internet for good songs. A famous Japanese novelist and runner, Murakami Haruki, recommended good songs to listen to while running on a radio show. The first song he recommended was "Heigh-Ho / Whistle While You Work."

The song is a tribute to the Disney movies, music, and amusement park rides that Brian Wilson loved when he was young. Although Brian Wilson is a professional record producer, this song is not in the style of his usual rock music. Nevertheless, it is still charming, refreshing, and has an attractive upbeat melody.

I have listened to this song many times while running and found that it makes my running more enjoyable and easier while brightening my mood. Good music while running is not only good for our health, but it can also make our lives richer.
