Language: The House of Being and the Architect of Our Existence

Language is the house of being, as the philosopher Martin Heidegger once said. It shapes our thoughts, emotions, and connections, granting us access to the essence of reality and human nature. In this blog post, we will explore several impactful quotes that echo this sentiment and discuss how we can use language to build a beautiful and powerful house of existence for ourselves and others. great but most underrated or lesser-known song from 2020

During my recent conversation with the esteemed chatbot, ChatGPT, I asked for an underrated or lesser-known song from 2020. ChatGPT suggested "Kyoto" by Phoebe Bridgers, an indie rock track that, despite receiving critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination, did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some other songs from that year.

"Kyoto" is a powerful and introspective song with lyrics that touch on themes of mental health, personal growth, and family relationships.

The music video features Bridgers performing in various locations in Kyoto with surreal and symbolic imagery. Although the melody and sound of the song are both good and catchy, I was underwhelmed by the music video. Despite Bridgers' hard work and effort, the video felt dull and uninspiring, especially in a time when beautifully crafted music videos are being produced all around us.

Regardless, Phoebe Bridgers is beautiful and a highly talented artist with a remarkable voice and I hope to see her continue to excel both personally and professionally in the future.
